Half Moon Bay, located a short distance south of Dammam, was a popular destination for Arab traders from the Arabian Gulf. Due to its family-friendly arrangement, it has been a major magnet for recreation: The cove’s entrances are relatively shallow and peaceful, with an average water depth of about 7 meters, making it an excellent place to learn to scuba dive or simply dip your toes on a warm winter day.
