Abdul Rahman Shams, Assistant Undersecretary for Umrah Affairs at the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, reported the number of foreigners who registered for Umrah through the “Nusuk” platform during Ramadan.

Via the “Nusuk” application, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah issued permits for Umrah for the blessed month of Ramadan in 1444 to pilgrims travelling from outside the Kingdom and Saudi residents and resident expats within the Kingdom.

The program, which can be downloaded from the “Apple Store” or “Google Play” shops, enables Umrah practitioners to check the available Ramadan Umrah dates based on capacity. They may then select the most convenient dates and apply for permission. When the reservation is booked, a valid visa is also required for travellers from abroad.

– Saudi citizens and resident expats may also apply for permits through the “Tawakkalna” application, providing their health condition is always clear of an active Coronavirus (Covid-19) infection, and they have no contact with an infected person.
