Entry ban on visit visa holders to 4 Saudi airports

Saudi Airlines and Flyas have warned all travel agencies to prevent booking flights for every kind of visit visa holders to the subsequent 4 airports ranging from Dhul Qaadah 10, 1443, admire June 9, 2022.

1.Jeddah Airport.
2.Madina Airport.
3.Yanbu Airport.
4.Taif Airport.

How long the ban will continue?
The entry ban on business visit visa holders and family visit visa holders to Jeddah, Madina, Yanbu, and Taif airports will continue till Dhul Hijjah 10, 1443 AH like July 9, 2022.

What if you’ve got already booked flights?
In case a visit visa holder has already booked Jeddah, Madina, Yanbu, or Taif airport for his arrival in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from June 9 to July 9, he will need to change his itinerary to a different airport.

Can they visit other cities?
The entry ban is imposed only on Jeddah, Madina, Yanbu, and Taif airports. The visit visa holders can land at other airports in Saudi Arabia like Riyadh, Dammam, etc.

However, visit visa holders cannot take a flight from any Saudi airport to Jeddah, Madina, Yanbu, and Taif.

Can they travel road?
In the absence of any explicit instructions from any Saudi authority, we believe that they’re liberated to enter any city of Saudi Arabia by road except Makkah.

Can they return from 4 banned airports?
Saudi Airlines has also emphasized that the return flight of all visit visa holders should be from the arrival airport itself.

In other words, if a visit visa holder used Riyadh airport for arrival, he cannot return from Jeddah airport. However, if he used Jeddah airport for arrival, he can return from the identical airport.
