Ministry of Hajj slapped 50,000 riyals fine on 10 companies on failing to serve the pilgrims
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia issued penalties against 10 Umrah companies, amounting 50,000 riyals per company, for his or her failure and breach of the duties and legal obligations provided to Umrah pilgrims, specifically violations associated with housing and transportation services. – The Ministry also said that it’ll interact with reports of pilgrims by taking all legal measures to carry defaulters accountable, in a shot to boost the extent of quality and services provided to the pilgrims and to preserve their safety.
– The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah also called on all pilgrims from inside and out of doors the dominion of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia wishing to perform the rituals of Umrah to the requirement of handling facilities licensed by the competent authorities to arrange trips and to decide on accommodation facilities and means of transport by the concerned authorities so as to preserve their rights and to make sure the service is provided to them.
